Location:
Last Spring is about 100 yards south of the canal
gate (200 yards south of Double Spring and Harney Road). You can see the
canal gate when heading north on I-75, just before the Fowler Ave. exit.
Description:
Last Spring is a small, shallow system. The visibility
of the canal was around 5-7 feet with the same in the cavern entrance.
On my visit I had already been in Double Springs for 30 minutes in a bathing
suit in March and didn't have my cave lights or equipment to see anything.
I'll check out this site sometime soon when I get bored for an afternoon.
