Location:
Rock Bluff Springs is on the east side of the Suwannee
River about 5 miles northwest of Bell, 9 mi south of the junction of
Suwannee River and the Santa Fe River.
Description:
The pool of Rock Bluff Springs is 2 to 3 ft deep
and varies in size depending on the height of the Suwannee River. The limestone
walls of the vent are nearly vertical; there may be a boil over the vent,
but its occurrence and strength are dependent on the water level of the
pool. The spring is privately owned.
