Location:
Nexxus Sink is located in the Beacon Woods subdivision
in Hudson (near corner of Hwy 19 and Hwy 52). The sink is behind some commercial
buildings on Clock Tower Parkway. Access is difficult as the sides are extremely
steep and since the sink is fenced. The only gate is behind the Beacon woods
Civic Center buildings at the intersection of Majestic Blvd and Clock Tower
Parkway.
Description:
This window to the cave system is silty and narrow
and makes for a poor exit due to the small solution tube and lack of space
for bottle placements. A local diver, Steingardt, is one of the only ones
allowed through this entrance by the Beacon Woods Civic Society.
